Texas Adventure Tour Throwback

Texas Adventure Tour Throwback

Last October, we teamed up with our friends at Oru Kayak for a week-long road-trip around the Lone Star State. We piled our favorite gear in Texas-sized trucks and hosted pop-up events in four cities.

Below we've shared some favorite moments from our tour de Texas: community hangs, breweries (thanks to our friends at Untapped Festival) and fun to inspire spring adventures!

Spring adventure tip: for those in Austin on May 14th, check out more than 75 breweries at Austin's Untapped Festival at Carson Creek Ranch. Come hang with us! We'll be kicking it with Chameleon Cold Brew in our Kammok 'Roo lounge.

Night 1 | Austin, Texas

Despite a weekend of torrential rain, one hundred plus Austinites gathered at one of our favorite hometown breweries, Hops & Grain for a night of brews and roos.  Our recommendation for a Hops & Grain brew n' roo is The One They Call Zoe

Night 2 | Dallas, Texas

We teamed up with a crew of creatives at WELD Dallas to host our hippest indoor party yet. Dallas' Lakewood Brewing Co. sponsored this fiesta and rafters enabled a cool conversation lounge to sip and swing. Our recommended brew n' roo for any indoor or outdoor occasion would be their Hopochondria

NIGHT 3 | Houston, Texas

The outside space at Houston's Karbach Brewery was perfect for some evening cornhole and good conversation. Best brew n' roo was a total toss up depending on your preference: Rodeo Clown IPA and Sympathy for the Lager were our top contenders.

NIGHT 4 | San Antonio, Texas

The last stop of the trip. Thanks to Alamo Beer Company and crisp fall weather, the night was perfect. Our "dream adventure wall" (pictured below) was teeming with doodles of future adventures. And with the help of a local DJ, running club fans, and melt-in-your-mouth food trucks, we celebrated adventure in true San Antonio style. Oh, and the Alamo's Golden Ale is a total classic brew n' roo.

Now it's your turn to dream...what's your next adventure?!
